Local Talent Lends Support

The Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Festival would also like to acknowledge the generosity of local talent Jeffrey Herbertson, Jimi Tharp, Keegan Quiroz and Luke Brennan.

Jeff Herbertson, Pivot Cycles-sponsored rider residing in Aptos, teamed up with videographer Keegan Quiroz to produce a short but super sweet video promoting the festival and Point frames (generously donated by Pivot) that will be offered up as silent auction and raffle items. Check out the video here.

Jimi Tharp, owner of Stache Surfboards, has a deep history of throwing down with the pros at BMX and mountain bike competitions. Jimi, along with wife Lisa Tharp, generously offered a custom-shaped SCMBF commemorative longboard for our festival to raffle off as a fundraiser for bike projects in our community. Jimi, Lisa and fellow dirt jumper/surfer Luke Brennan all joined forces to help produce the SCMBF Signature Raffle campaign materials, which involved a fun photo shoot resulting in the flyer found on the SCMBF Raffle page.
