What are Sweetlines Semester Programs?

Semester programs are another fantastic option for group coaching with a shorter time commitment! They are one day per week for 3-4 consecutive weeks at Duthie. Weekdays are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays from 5pm-7pm and Saturdays from 10am-12pm. Classes will focus on skills and, of course, fun!

Programs and levels offered will vary by semester, if you don’t see the class you are interested in, please let us know!

Before registering, please read the level descriptions so you know which level to register your child for. There are no refunds if you register for the wrong level.

Detailed Program Description:

This 8 week training program is designed to train to compete in the funnest women’s event in the country, the Sturdy Dirty Enduro! Each week we will work on various skills, build fitness, tackle fun and challenging trail features, and support each other in our individual zones of progression. Pro Sweetlines Coach, Heather, will work with participants to build up to climbing Upward Mobility to the top of Poppin’ Tops (with lots of breaks!) and focus on smoothly descending both sections of Flow State and Poppin Tops. By the end of the 8 weeks, participants feel more confident on these trails since these are the beginner stages of the Sturdy Dirty. If we want to progress further (based on the consensus and progress of the group) we can work on CCDH trail as well!

The trails at Raging River are much more difficult (and fun!) than Duthie trails, they are longer, steeper, rockier, rootier, and more technical. This program requires participants to have a basic level of fitness due to the nature of enduro racing. The goal is to participate in the Youth Beginner Catagory of the Sturdy Dirty Enduro on July 6th, if riders feel ready. Check out the event website https://www.sturdydirty.com/

This program will require flexibility for pick up times (and possibly locations). We will mostly spend time on Flow State and Poppin’ Tops, ending at the main lot but if we progress, we may spend time on the new trails and/or CCDH. If we ride CCDH we will require pickup at Highway 18(?)  This will be decided later in the program and before the drop off on selected date for expanding terrain.

We will have a Parent Zoom meeting TBD: If you are thinking about this class, please join this presentation, to discuss logistics and specifics for this program. It will be recorded if you cannot attend live.
